The Wonder Series: Central Asia
JESUS Film Project
The Wonder Series began as a single ministry tool designed to share the gospel with Muslims and quickly grew into a powerful 8-part video series. Each short film addresses the key questions Muslims most often ask about Christianity, based on real conversations with missionaries. With over 500,000 views on YouTube alone and a 12x increase in audience engagement, these animated shorts are making a lasting impact.

The Wonder Series: East Asia
JESUS Film Project
When The Wonder Series was created for Central Asia, teams in other regions quickly saw the value of tailoring media to the specific questions people were asking in their own cultural contexts. For East Asia, that meant a fresh creative approach: more narrative-driven storytelling and a visual style inspired by traditional Chinese ink painting. The gospel-focused short Coming Home stood out, earning selections at seven film festivals, five award nominations, and two wins: Runner-Up for Best Animated Film at the Christian Worldview Film Festival and an Award of Merit from the Best Shorts Competition.

Cru Legacy
Cru Legacy approached us with an idea: turn the wisdom and testimonies of their leaders into animated shorts to better connect with Gen Z. They referenced StoryCorps as a model—something we’d long admired—but to really speak Gen Z’s language, we mixed in a meme-forward, vlog-style approach inspired by YouTube culture. The result was something fresh, personal, and uniquely engaging.
Lucas: Mission Starhope
TruPlay Games
Nick worked heavily on the cinematics (cut-scenes) for Lucas: Mission Starhope, serving as story artist, compositor, and animator where needed. He got to work with and help coordinate an amazing group of artists that worked long hours and pulled off some impressive shots to get the game out the door.
Mantra Series
Southeast Christian Church
The graphics for this Southeast Christian Church teaching series were already stunning—practically begging to be animated. Inspired by the Bible Project, we partnered with their team to bring the visuals to life, turning the teaching into a series of animated videos that made key biblical principles easy to follow and engaging to watch.
Co-produced with other SE staff. Responsible for direction, illustration (except central logos), animation, compositing, and audio.
The Nativity
Southeast Christian Church
When teaching the Nativity to middle-grade students who’ve likely heard it a few times already, we knew it was time to mix things up. So we leaned into the real details of the story… with a twist. Styled like a fuzzy felt animation straight out of South Park, this version brings new energy to a classic tale and delivers a little extra joy for the Bible-loving geek at heart.
Co-produced with other SE staff. Responsible for direction, illustration, animation, and compositing.
Kids Media Clip Reel
Church Visuals – formerly 12:30 Media
With pre-packaged assets, a ready-to-go script, and a fun voiceover track, we had just what we needed to bring youth group meetings to life—complete with lively animation and plenty of silly gags to keep things fun.
Responsible for: Animation, visual gags, and compositing for export.
